The purpose of each
seminar is to help Christians base their thinking on the Bible as well as
challenge non-Christians to consider the truths of Christianity and see
that the Bible agrees with reality. These are suitable for Sunday School,
church services, weekend or evening seminars, camps, schools, college outreach, evangelistic outreach, etc.
Each talk is well-illustrated using PowerPoint slides and is about 45 minutes long. For longer programs
or seminar series, talks can also be supplemented with videos on a variety of topics.
We normally also provide a couple of book tables with free
literature as well as materials for sale.
If you are interested in having me speak to your church or other group, please contact me to schedule a presentation.
1. The Importance of Genesis.
Contemporary secular science relies largely on man’s fallible opinions,
which constantly change. In this talk, Mr. Wolfe challenges Christians to
build their worldview on the Creator’s infallible Word, which is in
agreement with reality and traditional science. (This message is
especially suitable for morning church services.)
2. The Relevance of Creation.
Is the creation/evolution issue important or just a side issue? If we can’t trust Genesis when it tells us how and when God created, how can we trust the New Testament when it tells us about spiritual matters such as how to go to heaven? (This message is
especially suitable for morning church services.)
3. Dinosaurs and the Bible.
What does the Bible say about dinosaurs? Did they live at the same time
as people? This message shows how a proper understanding of these amazing
creatures can help point us to the Creator. (This message is especially
suitable for children as well as adults.)
4. The Fossil Record.
Many people assume that the fossil record is the best evidence for
evolution, and that it in fact proves evolution is true. Learn what
fossils really teach us and how they support the Bible. (This message is especially
suitable for children as well as adults.)
5. Six Days or Millions of Years?
How long were the days of Genesis 1? Can you fit millions of years into
the Bible? The Biblical case for a young earth is presented, along with
principles of properly interpreting the Bible.
6. The Age of the Earth.
Hasn’t science proven the earth to be billions of years old? What
about carbon 14 dating and other radiometric dating methods? The
scientific case for a young earth is presented in this lecture.
7. The Genesis Flood.
Was the flood described in Genesis really global, or was it just a
large local flood? Questions about this and Noah’s ark are answered, both
from a Biblical and scientific standpoint. (This message is especially
suitable for children as well as adults.)
8. What is Creationism?
Creationism is contrasted with evolutionism in three areas: the origin of the universe, the origin of life, and the fossil record. Short biographies of founders of modern science are also presented to point out that nearly all were creationists who believed the Bible.
9. Science vs. Religion?
People often assume the creation/evolution controversy is science (evolution) vs. religion (creationism). This message shows how evolutionism is just as religious as creationism, and creation just as scientific as evolution. The conflict is not over evidence, but rather the interpretation of the evidence.
10. Creation Evangelism.
Why are people often so closed to the gospel message? Belief in
evolution and an old earth are stumbling blocks for many people, and
Christians need to know how to remove those stumbling blocks in order to
effectively witness to our culture. (This message is especially suitable
for morning church services.)
11. Evidence for a Global Flood.
The Bible teaches that there was a worldwide flood in the days of Noah, but is there really any evidence that it occurred? Learn how geology, fossils, and traditions from various cultures confirm the Biblical account of the flood.
12. The Ice Age.
Was there really an ice age? Will there be another ice age in the future? How does an ice age fit in with the Biblical timeline? What was the Missoula Flood, and what lessons can be learned from it? Presented in this message is evidence for the ice age and an explanation of how it is best explained by a creationary model.
13. Dealing with Evolution in School.
How do I answer test questions in science class about evolution? Can I discuss creation in the classroom, and if so, how can I speak the truth in love? What about all the evidence for evolution? This two to three hour workshop emphasizes how to deal with the subject of origins in an effective and evangelistic way. Learn what is being taught in public schools and colleges today, how to critically analyze textbook arguments for evolution, and how evolutionists are reacting to the challenges of creationists. This workshop is especially helpful for teens, college students, and parents who want practical help in understanding and dealing with the creation/evolution issue and effecting change in your local school and community.
(This message is especially
suitable for students, parents, and teachers.)
14. Answers to Questions on the Bible and Science.
Answers are given to many of the most commonly asked questions, such
as: Why is the creation-evolution issue so important? Where did Cain get
his wife? Where was the Garden of Eden? How many races are there? Do
animals evolve? If God is loving and all-powerful, then why is there death
and suffering? The emphasis is on thinking Biblically rather than
naturalistically, as we have largely been programmed to do by our culture.
(This message is especially suitable for children as well as adults.)
